1. Eligibility Requirements
To participate in this raffle, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of ticket purchase
- Be a legal resident of Alberta, Canada
- Comply with all applicable Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) regulations
- Not be an employee or immediate family member of an employee of the Alberta Conservation Association
2. Ticket Purchase Information
Sales Details
- Price Per Ticket: $10.00
- Maximum Tickets Available: 995
- Total Potential Revenue: $9,950.00
- Sales Method: First-come, first-served basis
- Sales Period: September 26, 2025 through December 26, 2025 (or until sold out)
Purchase Limits & Policies
- No limit on the number of tickets per person
- Multiple ticket purchases increase winning odds
- All sales are final—no refunds or exchanges permitted
- Tickets are non-transferable once purchased
3. Prize Information
- Grand Prize: $3,780.00 retail value outdoor adventure package
- Number of Winners: One (1) grand prize winner
- Prize must be accepted as awarded—no cash substitute available
- Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged
- Winner is responsible for any applicable federal or provincial taxes on prize value
4. Draw Details
Draw Date & Location
- Official Draw Date: December 26, 2025
- Draw Location: Taber Community Hall, Taber, Alberta
- The draw will be conducted in full compliance with Alberta Gaming regulations
- An authorized representative will supervise the draw
Winner Selection Process
- One ticket will be randomly selected from all eligible entries
- Winner will be contacted within 5 business days using provided contact information
- Winner must respond within 30 days of initial notification
- If winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 30 days, an alternate winner may be drawn
5. Winner Obligations
- Provide valid government-issued photo identification for verification
- Sign a Declaration of Compliance and Release form
- Correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question as required by law
- Consent to publication of name and city on our website and promotional materials
- Arrange prize collection within 60 days of winner notification
6. Use of Proceeds
All net proceeds from this raffle will be directed toward enhancements and improvements to the Pheasant Release Program in Alberta, as operated by the Alberta Conservation Association.
7. General Terms & Conditions
- The Alberta Conservation Association reserves the right to cancel or modify the raffle if circumstances beyond our control necessitate such action
- In the event of cancellation, all ticket purchasers will receive a full refund
- All decisions made by the Alberta Conservation Association regarding this raffle are final and binding
- This raffle is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations
- By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to be bound by these rules and regulations
8. Privacy & Personal Information
- Personal information collected will be used solely for raffle administration and winner notification
- All information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Winner's name and city may be published for promotional purposes as required by AGLC regulations
- Personal information will not be sold, shared, or distributed to third parties
9. Limitation of Liability
The Alberta Conservation Association, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents shall not be held liable for:
- Any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in this raffle
- Technical malfunctions, system failures, or communication errors
- Errors or omissions in ticket processing or draw procedures
- Any disputes regarding prize value, quality, or specifications
